Learn the basics of planning and designing databases by creating and modifying tables, creating and running queries, designing forms and generating reports.  This course provides a great foundation for understanding the concepts of relational databases. (2003 / 2007 / 2010 versions)

Prerequisites: Windows Introduction or previous Windows experience, Word Introduction, and Excel Introduction.

Access Intermediate ◄-- Click here for Course Outline

This course covers topics including table relationships, the Lookup Wizard; data integrity; input masks and validation rules, advanced queries including calculations, crosstabs, and parameters.  Students also learn advanced form features including calculations and combo boxes, customizing reports; using functions and expressions; and macros. (All versions)

Prerequisites: Access Introduction.

Access Essentials of Table Design ◄-- Click here for Course Outline

A little knowledge is dangerous - truer words were never spoken especially as they refer to designing a relational database like Access.  A must class for database designers.  Learn the five rules of "data normalization" that will save you grief and pain as you develop your database.  Also learn how to make sure your database has integrity.

Prerequisites: Access Introduction and Access Intermediate.

For the power users, this class will cover building advanced forms with grouped controls and subforms, creating advanced macros requiring user interaction and AutoKeys, writing and attaching basic SQL statements, Internet integration, and security fundamentals. (All Versions)

Prerequisite:  Access Intermediate and Access Essentials of Table Design.
