Dreamweaver 8 Advanced

Prerequisites: To ensure your success, we recommend you
first take Dreamweaver 8 Introduction or have equivalent knowledge.
Course Description: Upon successful completion of this
course, students will be able to:
- Discuss proper use of
CSS; attach a style sheet and create and modify CSS styles; and define
content sections by using he <div> tags
with IDs.
- Create, update, and
detach library items; create a page template; apply templates; identify
head elements and meta tags; and add keywords and
descriptions to web sites.
- Create interactive
forms and apply a variety of input components, and set the tab order of
input fields to enhance usability and accessibility.
- Create dynamic
user-triggered elements, including simple rollovers and complex navigation
bars.
- Create and manage
layers by using the Draw Layer tool, manipulate position, size, and
visibility of layers using the Layers panel
- Insert Flash buttons
and Flash text in a Web page, add Flash and FlashPaper
files, and add Windows Player Media files and QuickTime movie files.
- Discuss and setup a
dynamic site using the Databases panel; create a recordset using the
Bindings panel insert a recordset navigation bar, create master/detail
page set, and create search page and results page.
- Check for
browser-specific errors using Check Target Browser feature and Target
Browser Check panel.
